“Why do they have to make so much noise? Kids today are so selfish. Don’t they care that there are other people on this plane?” Michael complained loudly.

Brian looked over at him and rolled his eyes. “When did you become so old, they’re only singing, it’s no big deal. Put on your earphones if it’s bothering you so much.”

“Isn’t it bothering you?” Michael said annoyed.

“You and your constant whining is what’s bothering me,” Brian snapped. “If I had known you were going to be like this I wouldn’t have come.”

Michael was startled by Brian’s harsh tone with him. “I’m sorry,” he said quickly. “I don’t want anything to spoil your vacation. I know you need the break.”

Brian smiled. He knew Mikey was well intentioned but sometimes he was too far over the top. He glanced forward at the kids Mikey was complaining about. He could hear a man’s and women’s voice. A shock of blonde hair turned towards the girl and kissed her. “Pity,” Brian thought. He was hott.

“I love you too Jus,” Daphne smiled. “Thanks for coming with me. I haven’t seen him since I was five but we email all the time. I’m so excited. It’s supposed to be a beautiful place. Maybe you can do some painting while you’re here?”

“I hope so Daph, I just don’t get any time anymore.”

Daphne knew that Justin missed the expression that working on your own piece gave him. He helped other artists all day long. Perhaps here he would make some time for himself.

The sea plane glided in to the sheltered harbor. The trees swayed from the gentle breeze that was blowing softly. Tattoo ran up the tower of the main cottage and pulled the long bell cord, calling “The plane, the plane.” Running down again after everyone had been warned, he took up his place at the side of his lover, as they awaited their guest’s disembarkation. They watched the native girls dancing and placing the lei’s around the guests necks down on the wharf.

As the guests make their way towards the two men at the top of the hill, the taller of the two men spoke to his partner.

“This is Brian Kinney, an ad-man from Pittsburgh who was tricked into coming here by his best friend. Michael has fantasized about his friend Brian and he being a couple ever since he was 14.

Tattoo nodded.

“Next is Justin Taylor, he is 25 years old virgin still struggling with his sexuality. He gives people the appearance he is straight and has lived with his best friend Daphne Chalmers for the last 3 years. Her fantasy is for Justin to meet the man of his dreams and fall in love, living happily ever after.”

Tattoo smiled as the guests joined them.

“My dear guests, I am Mr. Roarke your host, welcome to Fantasy Island,” he said as he lifted his glass.

Brian glared at Mikey, wondering what he was up to this time. They finished their champagne and two porters came, to collect their luggage, leading Brian and Michael off in different directions.

Michael grumbled. “Hey, our rooms are supposed to be together.”

His porter smiled. “Mr. Roarke will be meeting with you soon and I would discuss that with him. Please follow me sir.”

Michael watched Brian disappear into the distance.

“Fine,” he snapped as he followed his bags.

Daphne ran towards her godfather now they were alone, throwing her arms about his neck. “I am so happy to see you.” She loosened her grip around Mr. Roarke’s neck and introduced her friend. “Justin this is my godfather.”

“Hello,” said Justin nervously. He had the feeling he was missing something by the looks that were being exchanged between Daphne and the handsome man. “Ah Daphne,” Mr. Roarke laughed. “Did you tell this poor boy what we do here?”

Daphne just giggled.

Justin was nervous. He knew that laugh but he wasn’t about to press the point now. He would wait until they went to their room and he would get it out of her then. Fuck, he hoped he wasn’t here to get married but that laugh was definitely her evil one. He shook his head.

“This is Tattoo,” Mr. Roarke smiled and kissed his lover lightly. “He is the love of my life and I know we will be together forever.”

Tattoo smiled at the declaration from his partner. “Why don’t you settle into your rooms and meet us on the terrace in an hour?”

Justin smiled, still nervous that something was going on and he wasn’t privy to it. Two porters arrived to carry their luggage unfortunately taking him and Daphne in different directions to their rooms as well. He would have to wait till later for his explanation.

Justin settled into his room, unpacking his clothes by tipping out his duffle bag into a draw. He walked out onto his terrace that was totally enclosed, shielding his privacy from his neighbor on either side. He could hear someone on the phone on the next terrace. The voice was raised and heated, yelling at someone.

“I don’t give a fuck how you do it just do it. I am not cutting this vacation short like all the others, you are the senior partner, and you fucking fix it. It was fine when I left what happened? Well who sent them the wrong copy? Vance, I haven’t had a day off in eight months. I have worked seven days a week. If I don’t have a rest I will fall down so you will need to handle this. I am going to turn off my cell now and I will see you in a week. No I can’t leave it on. There will always be an emergency. Turning it off now, Bye.”

The terrace was silent except for one final sigh of relief. “Ahhhhhhhh.”

Justin smiled. He understood how difficult it was to get away. Since he had started running the Gallery, he longed for the time to just be an artist again. He missed it so much. The excitement of choosing a subject, planning your piece, watching it take form and shape, choosing the colors. He sighed as well. Perhaps he would get a chance to do some pieces while he was here if he ever found out what he was here for.

Daphne arrived to meet her godfather on the terrace as planned. She looked out over the harbor as she waited. What a beautiful place this would be to live she thought. The palm trees swaying were hypnotic; the terrain was diverse; she could even see a waterfall in the distance. She hoped that Justin would not be angry when he found out what she had planned. They had been out of college long enough. Justin always said he was going down to Liberty Ave to see if he was really a homosexual but he never quite got around to it, seeming too content to just hang with her all the time. Here there would be no interruptions. She wanted Justin to be happy but the way he was, she was going to have him living in her guest room long after she was married or worse still she would spend all her time trying to make Justin happy they would both end up old maids.

“Daphne.”

She turned towards the beautiful Spanish accent. There was Tattoo with her godfather. They were beautiful together and she could tell their feelings for each other were deep.

“You didn’t tell him.”

“I didn’t think he would come if I did.”

He just nodded and turned around as if sensing Justin’s approach. “Justin, all unpacked?”

“Yes thanks sir. It’s very beautiful here.”

“Thank you we love it, it’s a very special place. We have some exquisite scenery. I hope you take advantage of your time here to paint. Daphne tells me you don’t get much time anymore.”

Justin heaved a sigh of relief. His art, of course it was his art she had brought him here for.”

“I hope so too sir.” Justin smiled.

“The waterfall may provide you with an interesting subject,” Tattoo volunteered.

“Yes I can see it from my room, it’s magnificent.”

“Maybe later you could take one of the guides and go and check it out,” Mr. Roarke suggested.

“I think I will do that, it would make a great background piece,” Justin smiled.

“Now come, Daphne, Justin let’s have some lunch.”

Brian finished unpacking. He painstakingly laid out his clothes across the draws and in the closet. Always wanting to look his best, so treating his clothes as tools of trade was second nature to him. He had noticed there was any number of hott island guys around. Even the host and his lover were hott. He needed the vacation but he wondered why Mikey had picked this place. It was obviously just a rest and relaxation place. There didn’t seem to be any clubs. Oh well, he did need the break. Maybe the name Fantasy Island would turn up a bondage and discipline bar somewhere. Hmmmm he felt his cock twitch.

Mikey was grumbling because his room was so far away from Brian’s. He had been on the phone ever since they got there trying to get a room closer.

“I’m sorry Mr. Novotny, we are booked out for the next week. It won’t be possible to move you. We are sorry for the inconvenience.”

Mikey slammed down the phone. That was the third person he had spoken to. Any idiot knows that if you travel with someone you want your rooms to be together. Mikey sighed. He would just have to make the best of it. If Brian was his at the end of the week then what did it matter where the room was located.

Mikey smiled; just thinking about Brian being his made his heart skip a beat. He had been in love with Brian Kinney since they were 14 years old. Brian had come to his school and he and Mikey had hit it off straight away. Mikey had never been very popular, in fact he was a bit of a dweeb but after Brian came, nobody picked on him again. Brian was always there for him and now he wanted to be there for Brian. Brian was the hottest stud in Liberty Ave. He was handsome, wealthy, successful, had a flashy car and a killer loft and Michael Novotny wanted him with everything in his being. He had spent many nights dreaming about Brian making love to him and finally it was going to come true.

Brian would stay at his house when they were kids. His father was violent and used to like using Brian as a punching bag. He would climb in the window of Mikey’s room in the middle of the night, battered and bruised and Mikey would hold him until he stopped crying. He wished, just once he had taken advantage of his vulnerability in those times but he was never brave enough. He was a wealthy man now and he didn’t want to wait anymore. He wanted Brian Kinney and hell or high water he was going to have him.

“I make it a practice to meet with all our guests when they first arrive to get a feel for your expectations,” Mr. Roarke smiled at Brian.

“I want sun. I haven’t had a day off in eight months since I made partner and I’m here to work on my tan.”

“Is their anything else you would like while you are here?”

Brian thought for a moment and laughed. “I don’t suppose there are any dance clubs on the island or maybe a regular Friday night orgy.”

“I’m afraid we aspire to a quiet life here. We don’t have any dance clubs.”

“Pity,” Brian smirked. “And yourself and your partner? Monogamous?”

“I’m afraid so.”

Brian laughed. “Well a great tan has to be it then.”

Mr. Roarke smiled. He liked Brian. His straight up attitude was refreshing. “I have a meeting with Mr. Novotny next. Are the two of you close?”

“Since we were fourteen, we have been best friends.”

“Just best friends?”

Brian laughed loudly. “As a best friend I couldn’t want anyone more but as a lover, he isn’t my type. Mikey is a happily ever after type and I like my freedom far too much. Even if I ever decided to settle down, I would want something very different to Michael. He’s more of a stuffed animal that sits on your bed. I can’t even imagine fucking him.” Brian shuddered at the thought.

“There is your terrace, the sundeck, the beach and there are many places on the Island where you can work on your tan. May I suggest the waterfall? It’s very beautiful.”

Brian laughed. He wasn’t sure how he was going to enjoy a holiday that didn’t center on fucking, but he was tired and needed the rest. He was trapped here for a week and was going to make the best of it.

Mr. Roarke opened his door and Michael jumped to Brian’s side.

“Wait for me Brian, I won’t be long and we’ll go for a swim.”

Mr. Roarke intervened. “We have many details to discuss, why don’t you get started on your tan, Brian, and the two of you can meet later.”

Michael became agitated. “Well why don’t I go with Brian and we can meet later.”

“I’m sorry our meeting is crucial at this point, we need to discuss your stay.”

Michael shrugged. “I’ll catch you later.”

Brian kissed Mikey goodbye. “Later.”

The two men walked into the office.

“Sit down Michael, may I call you Michael?”

Michael shrugged. “How does it work here? Do you drug him or use brainwashing or what? I paid $50,000 and I want what I paid for?” Michael sat with a straight face waiting for an answer.

Mr. Roarke sat silent, thinking of how to respond.

“We don’t employ such means here. Most fantasies just need the right set of circumstances to come true. That’s the service we provide. If you are not happy with the result we will cheerfully refund your money minus of course the expenses for the week.”

“Have you ever not fulfilled someone’s fantasy before?”

Mr. Roarke smiled. “We have been fulfilling fantasies for eleven years. A fantasy would need to be mean spirited or manipulative to fail. We can’t make Brian do anything that he wouldn’t wish to do. Do you feel Brian returns your feelings?”

“I know he loves me and I know I am the best person for him to spend the rest of his life with. I just need a chance to prove that to him.”

“Well if you are indeed his true love, then you will be together,” Mr. Roarke smiled.

Michael looked happy too.

Justin and Daphne lay on the sundeck napping. The atmosphere was so peaceful. Justin was going to the waterfall first thing in the morning but had decided to just lay around the resort for the rest of the day. She opened her eyes when a man from the plane sat down beside them.

“Hello, I’m Daphne Chalmers.”

“Brian Kinney, pleased to meet you,” Brian smiled.

Justin didn’t stir.

Daphne laughed. “Sleeping beauty here is Justin Taylor.”

“I saw you both on the plane when we came down here. Your boyfriend or husband?” Brian asked.

Daphne laughed. “Justin? He’s neither. We’ve been friends all our lives but there has never been anything romantic between us. Anyway Justin is gay.”

Brian smirked. “Really, he looks tired.”

“He’s been working very hard over the last few months. He runs a gallery in Pittsburgh. I think he is exhausted. I hope he doesn’t sleep the week away,” Daphne laughed. “What do you do Brian?”

“I’m a partner in an ad agency. I come from Pittsburgh too. It’s a wonder I haven’t seen Justin around if he’s gay.”

“You’re gay too?” Daphne smiled.

“Since I was fourteen. Out and proud.”

“Justin isn’t out. He doesn’t hide it though.” She wasn’t sure how much to tell Brian. She hoped they could get together. He was beautiful. “I wish Justin could find the time to investigate his sexuality.” There, she said it.

“Investigate? Oh a virgin.”

Daphne smiled at Brian. Why are all the truly handsome men gay she wondered?

Justin stirred. He turned his head and opened his eyes to see the most beautiful man he had ever seen. “Hi,” he stammered.

“You’ve been having a deep sleep. We’ve been talking about you for ages,” Brian smiled.

Brian and Daphne laughed.

Justin wasn’t sure why this stranger was teasing him. Justin was suddenly nervous about all the things that Daphne could say.

“Brian comes from Pittsburgh too Jus.”

“Really? Small world I guess.”

Brian nodded.

“I’m here to work on my tan, how about you?”

“My art, I don’t get much time anymore.” Justin said softly.

“I know Jus. Brian would you mind if Justin draws you sunbathing?”

“Daph!”

Brian looked amused. “I don’t see why not. I was planning to go up to the waterfall tomorrow and work on my tan there.”

Daphne giggled. “See Jus it must be one of those ‘meant to be’ things.”

Brian looked puzzled.

“Justin was going up to the waterfall tomorrow to draw.”

“Oh,” Brian smiled. “Do we have a date?”

“I guess,” Justin mumbled.

“I’ll bring lunch,” Brian smiled at Justin. “My guide is booked for nine, is that okay with you Justin?”

“Nine will be fine.”

“I’ll see you tomorrow, if I don’t see you before. Downstairs at nine.”

Justin smiled as Brian went inside.

Daphne sat smirking at him.

“What?” Justin asked.

“He’s gorgeous,” she cooed.

“He’ll make an interesting subject for sure, he must work out.” Justin thought about his sculptured torso and couldn’t help smiling. He already could see the picture of Brian sunning himself on the rocks on the top of the waterfall. He felt his cock harden and quickly sat up so Daphne didn’t tease him.

“I can see that you are interested in him,” she said. She never missed anything.

“We don’t even know that he’s gay.”

“I do, I asked him,” she announced.

“Daph, you can’t keep asking people about their sexuality,” Justin protested.

“Why? I have mine in my description of myself. Hi, I’m Daphne, five one, brown hair brown eyes, straight.”

“Not everyone is as organized as you.”

“Well they should be. By the way, he is Brian Kinney, thirty two, six four, chestnut hair, hazel eyes, works for his own ad agency and gay.”

“You should do surveys,” Justin sneered at her.

“Good for you that I’m alert,” she countered. “Let’s dress for dinner, I might even have a nap.”

“I feel fine now,” Justin said.

“You slept all afternoon while I talked to Brian.”

“I’ll see him tomorrow, maybe he’ll pose nude for me?” Justin wondered out loud.

“What a great idea, then you’ll get to see the merchandise,” Daphne laughed.

“Daph, when I draw it isn’t sexual,” Justin protested.

“Well it should be. How else are you going to get laid?” she teased.
